ACTS Africa Launched in 2020
ACTS: African Continental Transformation Society “officially” emerged from their many years of fruit-bearing, life changing ministry experiences! While serving in Uganda in January 2019, it became very clear to Pastors John and Samson that they were called to this laser-focused ministry to pour into church leaders throughout East Africa. They prayed, planned and built the framework for what you now know is ACTS Africa.
Pastor John and Pastor Samson partner to accomplish very specific objectives.
Reach people in East Africa who are far from God. Introduce them to the love, hope and redemption of Christ. Hundreds of men, women, and children have come to know Christ, experienced baptism by immersion, and discipled in local communities of faith.
Gather and encourage pastors and spiritual leaders across all Christian denominational lines in predominantly in rural areas. In conference settings, train them in best practices for elevating dynamic, obedience-based discipleship. Over the span of John’s nine trips (as of 2020), no less than 2,000 leaders have attended conferences in Kenya and Uganda coming from multiple East African nations.
Engaging Young American Pastors in ACTS

John Rushing, Founder and Director of ACTS: African Continental Transformation Society, has mentored and encouraged pastors, church leaders and missionaries throughout East Africa since 1998 including Malawi, Mozambique, Zambia, Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, South Africa and the Congo.

We believe…
– There is one God, eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
– In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ; His virgin birth; His sinless life; His miracles as recorded in the New Testament; His vicarious and atoning death upon the cross; His bodily resurrection on the third day; His ascension to the right hand of God, the Father; and His personal, bodily return in power and glory to the Earth as King of kings, and Lord of Lords.
