Rewind to March 2020. While the first ACTS Africa Team crossed the Atlantic, connected in Amsterdam and made our way to Nairobi on board a KLM jumbo jet, Covid 19 mushroomed across Europe and the United States. It was our very first ACTS Africa trip! We had two conferences scheduled, but completed only the first in Mwatate, just south of Voi in Tsavo. We were fortunate to catch flights back to the USA before inbound international flights were abruptly discontinued.

However, ACTS Africa made a promise to our friends in Taveta on the Tanzania border that we’d be back. From February 14-25, 2021 we will keep that promise and add a second conference in the region.

Jared Herzog of Niceville, Florida will be going back with me. joined by worship leader and former American Idol contestant, Dave Pittman of Gassville, Arkansas. You’ll see the local/regional conference teams pictured here. Don’t be fooled. These two teams will be responsible for gathering close to 800 (or more) pastors and spiritual influencers from very rural areas to heighten their impact for life change in Christ right in the communities where God has already planted them.
